39 b) Các trạng từ thời gian dùng tương lai đơn: someday (một ngày đó), soon (chẳng nữa), next + time: tới, đến (next week: tuần tới; next month: tháng tới; next year: năm tới, next Sunday: chủ nhật tới), tomorrow: ngày mai (tomorrow night: tối mai, tomorrow morning: sáng mai), tonight: tối nay; in days: ngày nữa,

2) Cách dùng

Thì tương lai đơn thường dùng để:

a) Diễn tả hành động xảy tương lai hành động xảy khoảng thời gian dài tương lai

Ex: She will take part in the meeting tomorrow Cô tham gia họp ngày mai

Nam will be twenty years old next week Nam 20 tuổi vào tuần tới Her mother will probably go to the zoo together with her next week Mẹ cô sở thú với cô tuần tới

b) Diễn đạt ý kiến, chắn, dự đốn người nói điều tương lai

Ex: You may go now They will not see you Ban Họ không gặp bạn

I‘m sure she'll send you a Christmas card next Sunday Tôi cô gửi thiệp Giáng sinh cho bạn vào Chủ nhật tới

c) Đưa lời hứa, lời đe dọa

- Trong câu, có mệnh đề phụ thời gian tương lai, mệnh đề phụ khơng dùng tương lai đơn, mà dùng đơn

Ex: When he comes here next weekend, I will discuss it further Tuần tới kill anh đến đây, bàn thêm

("Tuần tới anh đến đây" mệnh đề phụ thời gian, ta dùng đơn, "chúng ta bàn thêm" mệnh đề chính, ta đùng tương lai đơn)

2) Một cấu trúc đặc biệt dùng tương lai a) be going to (sắp, sẽ, dự định)

- S + be (is/are/am) + going to + V (bare-inf)

be going to + động từ nguyên mẫu dùng để diễn đạt tương lai gồm ý nghĩa sau: — Dùng để diễn đạt dự tính ý muốn chủ quan

Ex: I ate breakfast with Amy today, and I'm going to cat supper with her too Hôm ăn sáng với Amy định ăn tối với cô

She is going to wear a yellow dress to his birthday party Cô định mặc áo đầm vàng dự tiệc sinh nhật anh

- Dùng để diễn tả “dự kiến”, dự báo hành động xảy ra, không liên quan đến dự định ý muốn thân, cách sử dụng vật khách quan xảy

Ex: Look at the black clouds It‘s going to rain Nhìn đám mây den Trời mưa

Listen to the loud crash of thunder We're going to have a special picnic Lắng nghe tiếng sấm sét lớn Chúng tơi có chuyến dã ngoại đặc biệt

- Diễn tả “đang làm việc gì” “nên làm việc gì”

Ex: We are going to play football when it begins to rain Chúng chơi bóng đá trời bắt đầu mưa

b) So sánh be going to + động từ nguyên mẫu will (shall) + động từ nguyên mẫu diễn đạt S khác hành động tương lai

- will (shall) + động từ nguyên mẫu diễn tả hành động xảy tương lai xa, be I going to + động từ nguyên mẫu diễn tả hành động nhanh chóng xảy tương lai gần

Ex: She is going to get better Cô tốt (Cô ta nhanh chóng khỏe lại.)

She will get better Cơ tốt (Có thể lâu hồi phục.)

- Cả hai cấu trúc dùng để “dự kiến”, dự báo hành động xảy Nhưng “dự kiến”

- Cả hai cấu trúc diễn tả “ý muốn”, có lúc thay lẫn Nhưng “ý muốn” will, (shall) + động từ nguyên mẫu thường việc tạm thời nghĩ đến, không có suy nghĩ; “ý muốn” be going to + động từ nguyên mẫu có suy nghĩ, có ý định trước khơng thể thay đổi cho tình

Ex: They will not/ They‘re not going to tell you the truth

Họ khơng nói với bạn thật (Chúng ta ―ý muốn‖ suy nghĩ đến việc hay khơng Vì dùng hai cách.)

- Thì tiếp diễn dùng để diễn tả tương lai hành động xảy Chủ yếu diễn tả hành động có dùng động từ di chuyển vị trí, như: go, come, leave, arrive, start, return, fly, take off, reach, begin

Ix: We are leaving for London after the performance Chúng Luân Đôn sau buổi biểu diễn kết thúc They are having an important meeting this evening Họ có buổi họp quan trọng vào tối She is starting her course next week

Be to + động từ nguyên mẫu diễn tả tương lai diễn tả hành động lên kế hoạch, xếp xảy ra, dự định chủ quan chịu ảnh hưởng cá nhân, có nghĩa “dự định, nghĩa vụ, trách nhiệm”

Ex: I‘m to meet him at the gate this afternoon Chiều định gặp anh cổng The whole class is to have a picnic this morning Sáng lớp dã ngoại

- Cách thường dùng báo chí, phát để tuyên bố sách định của quan chức

- Cũng dùng để diễn đạt ý “mệnh lệnh, ngăn cấm, có thể”

Thì đơn dùng để diễn đạt thời gian tương lai Chú ý, giống tiếp diễn, đơn dùng để diễn tả động từ di chuyển vị trí, diễn tả xếp, kế hoạch Nhưng xếp dùng đơn dựa theo lịch trình thời gian biểu việc khách quan, chủ từ phần lớn người, có ngữ khí so với tiếp diễn

Ex: He leaves at o‘clock Anh rời khỏi lúc When does the class begin? Khi buổi học bắt đầu? 3) So sánh “will” “be going to”

“Will” “be going to” dùng để diễn đạt tiên đoán

Khi người nói cho điều nói trở thành thật xảy tương lai thì “will” “be going to” sử dụng

Ex: Watch out! You‘ll hurt yourself

Coi chừng! Bạn tự làm bị thương dấy

□ Cách dùng ―be going to‖ be going to dùng khi:

a) Diễn đạt kế hoạch có từ trước

Ex: We are going to the cinema tonight Chúng xem phim tối

b) Đề cập đến kiện có ý định thực

Ex: I‘m going to the English club tomorrow morning Tôi câu lạc tiếng Anh vào sáng mai

c) Đề cập đến hành động xảy gần tương lai

Ex: The supermarket is going to close soon Siêu thị đóng cửa

2 Cách dùng “will”

Ta dùng will để dự đoán tương lai Ex One day I will visit her

Một ngày tơi viếng thăm ta

a) Will: making predictions (biểu thị tiên đoán)

Will dùng để dự đốn tương lai, nói điều nghĩ, dự đoán xảy ra tương lai

This book will change your life

Quyển sách làm thay đổi đời bạn

b) Will: Making offers (biểu thị cho lời dề nghị)

Hành lý bạn trơng nặng q Tơi giúp bạn khiêng 2 Review: The Passive voice (Ơn tập: Thể bị động)

Muốn đổi câu từ thể chủ động sang thể thụ động, ta thực bước sau: Active (chủ động): Subject + Verb + Object

Passive (bị động): Subject + (be + Past Participle) + by Object Lưu ý: Động từ to be thi câu bị động

Thể bị động dùng khi:

a) Không biết hay không cần biết đến tác nhân thực hành động

Ex: This house was built in 1999 Ngôi nhà xây vào năm 1999

b) Muốn nhấn mạnh người vật thực hành động

Ex: This house was designed by Hung Căn nhà thiết kế Hùng Một số thể bị động sau:

PASSIVE VOICE

- Active voice: cách đặt câu S giữ vai trị chủ động/ chủ thể( essential

part) hay S người hay vật thực hành động: Eg : The workers built this house/ She bought a book

- Passive voice: cách đặt câu S đứng vai trị bị động O giữ vai trị chủ

động hay S nhận hành động chủ thể khác thực Eg: This house was built by the workers / A book was bought by her

- Bị động hình thức nhấn mạnh vo chủ thể chịu tc động hành động hành động đó:

Bao gồm: + Chủ thể tạo tác động hành động + Hành động

+ Ko quan tâm tới chủ thể thực hành động

- Form: A.V S + V + O

P.V O + BE PII + BY S

Eg: I want you to clean the floor- V nội động từ  I want the floor is cleaned by you

A people begin watching football – V ngoại động từ

I O – chủ thể chịu tác động hành động: - N /Pro : sau V thường làm O

Eg: I gave him a present He was given a present A present was given to him

- Khi ngoại V chủ động có O: trực tiếp( thường vât) gián tiếp( thường người) chuyển thành câu bị động

- Nếu S=O câu bị động O gián tiếp cần lưu ý giới từ cho V II V – V gây tác động cho O:

- V gây tác động cho O -> V thể trạng thái bị động: Be + PII - V gây tác động cho O không thiết phải V câu:

Eg: A people begin watching football

 Football begins being watched by a people

- V gây tác động cho O câu chủ động có V dạng thức ntn V ―tobe‖ câu bị động có dạng thức

- PII: part participle: phân từ qúa khứ V

III S – Chủ thể thực hành động gây tác động cho O : - Chủ thể gây tác động cho O không thiết S câu

- O câu chủ động nằm vị trí S câu bị động / chủ thể thực hành động chân vào vị trí câu bị động

Eg : I want you to clean the floor

-> I want the floor to be cleaned by you

- Nếu chủ thể thực hành động đại từ ta bỏ ― by + S‖ câu bị động/ hay ta bỏ: by me, by you, by her, by us, by it, by someone…… câu bị động khơng muốn nêu rõ tác nhân hay khơng quan trọng

IV Notes:

- Nếu câu chủ động có trạng từ nơi chốn đặt chúng trước : “ by + O bị động”

- Nếu câu chủ động có trạng từ thời gian đặt chúng sau : “ by + O bị động”

Eg: Nam did the test carefully at school this morning

- Nếu O câu bị động chủ vật việc ta dng giới từ ― with‖ thay ― by‖ trước O

- Các V : ask, tell, give, send, show, teach, pay, offer, … Là V thường có O  Các đk để chuyển từ câu chủ động sang câu bị đông:

- Câu chủ động phải xác lập có đc O - Câu chủ động phải có ngoại V

V Một số cơng thức bị động cụ thể thì: 1 Present simple tense: S + is/ am/ are+ PII + by O Eg: I drink coffee everyday -> coffee is drunk everyday

2 Present continuous tense: S + is/ am/ are+ being+ PII + by O

Eg: Lan is listening to music at the moment -> Music is being listened to by Lan at the moment

3 Present perfect tense: S + have/ has+ been + PII + by O

Eg: We have hired this car since yesterday -> This car has been hired since yesterday 4 Past simple tense: S + was/ were + PII + O

Eg: They stole a lot of money in that bank two years ago -> A lot of money were stolen in that bank two years ago

5 Past continuous tense: S + was/ were + being+ PII + O

Eg: Ann was writing a letter yesterday morning -> A letter was written by Ann yesterday morning

6. Past perfect tense: S + had + been + PII + O

Eg: I had had dinner before I did my home work yesterday -> Dinner had been had before my homework was done yesterday

7. Simple future tense: S + will/ shall+ be +PII +O

Eg: My father will paint our house white tomorrow -> Our house will be painted white by my father tomorrow

8. Near future tense: S + is/ are/ am+ going to+ be +PII +O

Eg: Ann is going to work this tree -> This tree is going to be worked by Ann

9. Future perfect tense: S + will/ shall+ have been +PII +O

- Ta dùng V nguyên thể bị động : Be+PII để ý định hay bắt buộc hay đc

Ta dùng to have + pp khi động từ tường thuật động từ mệnh đề chênh lệch về

d) Thể thụ động dùng với cấu trúc get, have + something + done * Thể thụ động để diễn đạt ý nhờ hay thuê làm

Ex: I have my motorbike washed once a week (Somebody at the service washes the motorbike for me I don‘t wash the motorbike Một dó dịch vụ rửa xe máy cho Tôi không rửa xe máy.)
