1 Định nghĩa
- Câu điều kiện câu gồm hai phần: Một phần nêu lên điều kiện hành động phần lại nêu kết hành động đó, hay cịn gọi mệnh đề điều kiện (thường bắt đầu với if) mệnh đề (chứa will/ would)
- Mệnh đề điều kiện ln liền sau từ if 2 Cấu trúc
If + S + present simple (thì đơn), S + simple future (thì tương lai đơn) + V Ví dụ: If I have enough money, I will buy that flat (Nếu có đủ tiền, tơi mua hộ kia)
Lưu ý:
- Mệnh đề “If” đặt trước mệnh đề ta phải dùng dấu phẩy “,”
- Các động từ khuyết thiếu (can, may, should, must,…) dùng để thay “will” mệnh đề
- Đơi đơn dùng mệnh đề chính, diễn tả quy luật, thật hiển nhiên, điều kiện ln ln
Ví dụ: If the sun doesn’t shine, you feel cold (Nếu mặt trời không tỏa nắng, bạn thấy lạnh)
