Customs and traditons: How they have changed
1 Work in groups of three or four Decide on a Vietnamese custom or tradition you want to research
2 Individually, interview an old person (your grandmother or your neighbor) about this custom or tradition
3 Then interview a younger person (your mother or your teacher) to see if this custom or tradition has changed today
4 Back in your group, compare and combine your research results Then together plan your presentation Decide which of you will lead each part of the presentation

Vietnam is known as a multi-cultural country because there are 54 different ethnic groups in Vietnam It's also the reason that there are variety customs and traditions in Vietnam We are the Kinh and at the past we followed some good customs and traditions and one of them is visiting pagoda at the New year' Eve This custom has not changed much and let's me show you about the little change
At the past, people choose the good day to go to pagoda Or they only visit the pagoda on the first day or the fifteenth day of month due to Lunar calendar They go to visit and make a wish for themselves and their family and relatives They hope they will have a good health and lucky life They also picked some leaves and burgeons on the trees in the pagoda with a hope that they would bring luck back home
(3)bring any leaves or burgeons on the tree back home This action mean to destroy the environment

Tuy nhiên, họ không làm điều vào thời khắc giao thừa mà cịn tất ngày suốt kì nghỉ Tết Ngồi ra, họ lễ chùa vào tất ngày tháng Và họ không mang hay cành nhà Hành động có nghĩa phá hủy môi trường
