(1)The Story of Mr Nastion
There was once an old man called Mr Nastion, who lived in a big house in the countryside It was as big as a castle Inside his house there was a lot of very expensive furniture and enormous amounts of money that he would keep under the floorboards in his bedroom He was short, fat, bald and very, very mean He was actually as mean as a grumpy teacher on a rainy day
“Great, a new animal to scare,” he muttered to himself He looked into the busOne day Mr Nastion was walking slowly through the woods looking for animals to scare when he heard a strange squeaking sound coming from the bushes Mr Nastion had never heard such a noise before
h and saw the oddest little creature he had ever seen It was a tiny pale green monster, as small as a mouse It had two wings, a big belly and a long snout Mr Nastion was about to shout loudly at the strange creature to scare it but then he had a thought
“Perhaps this monster can make me even richer!” he said to himself quietly
He carefully picked the monster up, put it in his pocket and went home He then built a small cage, put the monster inside and made a sign, “Come and see the strangest monster in the world!” it read Word soon spread about this monster and people came from far and wide to see it, each of them paying Mr Nastion $20 He kept all the money under the floorboards in his bedroom but soon all the space was filled with banknotes so he had to store the rest in his living room When that was full he started putting it in the bathroom
“Ha ha, I am rich now!” laughed Mr Nastion
