Aims and objectives : * Laguage content :- Students learn how to ask and answer about names and where they live. * Language function: * To help them to ask about the place where their friend’s live * By the end of the lesson, The Ss will be able to read the Alphabet * Educational aim: To eable them to be interested in each other 1. Language : a.Vocabulary: What – where – how House – street – city Live- In – on - The Enghlish Alphabet list b.Structures: What’s your name? My name’s Lan Where do you live? I live on Tran Phu street 2. Skills : Speaking – Listening - Reading - Writing 3. Educational factor : * Their friends, their teachers, their relatives, the way to remember SO’s address, names. *Knowing to read all Alphabet II. Teacher’s and students’ preparation : 1. Method : Communicative Approach 2.Techniques:Repetition, asking, answering, play game “Jumble words” 3.Material needed:Pictures, cassette 4.Students’ preparation:look up the meaning of some new words 5.Previous exercises:Exercise 1, 2 on page 11 I exercise book. III. PROCEDURES IN CLASS : 1. Stabilization: 2ms a.Warm–up:make greetings b.Checking absence:monitor announces the students who are absent. 2. Checking up previous knowledges: Time needed:5 minutes * Questions:Asks the students to ask their friend to come in, stand up. * Keys to questions: 3. Lead in: -Asks the students to play the game “sdi… say’s” -Asks some students’s names, some students’ age. -Introduces the new lesson, writes the title. II. Pre-Practice 1/ -Shows the students people places and the conversation they have in the practice - Explains the pronunciation, the linking rounds. + What’s your name? + My name’s Nam + I live on Tran Phu street + How old are you? + I’m twelve years old -Explains the structures Where do you live? I live on Tran Phu street 2/- Calls on one student to stand up and read the alphabet by Vietnamese. - Introduces the alphabet by English. III. While - Practice - Listen and answer the questions - Listen to the teacher. - Listen and take notes - Listen. - Stand up and read the alphabet by Vietnamese. - Listen to the teacher. - Listen to the cassette and repeat. - Work in pair - Work and answer in their notebook - Practise in pairs UNIT: 2 AT SCHOOL Period : 8 LESSON: B WHERE DO YOU LIVE? (1,2,3) I. Pronunciation What’s your name? I live in Tran Phu street How old are you? I’m twelve years old The alphabet : A, b, c, d, e, f, g, h, I, j, k, l, m, n, o, p, q, r, s, t, u, v, w, x, y, and z. IV. Post - Practice -Asks the students to play the game “Noughts and crosses” old- I –twelve where-street - live house-where - city -Asks the students to make sentences with the above words which groups that has answer on a line, wins the game V. Consolidation - Asks the students to reminds the way to ask where they . - Listen to the tape and repeat. - Listen and take notes. - Pronunce. - Play the game. - Remind and take notes. II. Structures Where do you live? I live on Tran Phu street I live in Quinhon. 4. Homework (2ms) - Asks the students to learn the structures and do the exercise 3,4,5,6 on page 12,13 5.
