Structure: + S + am/is/are + … (1) - S + am not/ is not (isn…t)/are not (aren…t) + … (2) ? Am/Is/Are + S + … ? (3) Example: 1, I (be) a farmer S, use (1) => I am a farmer 2, She (not/be) thin S, use (2) => She is not/ isn’t thin 3, You (be) a student? S, use (3) => Are you a student? 4, Where Lan (be)? S, use (3) => Where is Lan? II. Ordionary verb: A. Affirmative form: - Listen - Answer & write 1, Subject: I, We, You, They, Plural Noun: S + Infinitive … (4) Example: 1, I (to go) to school every day S, use (4) => I go to school every day. 2, We (to have) lunch at school S, use (4) => We have lunch at school 2, Subject: He, She, It, Singular Noun: We add “es” or “s” after the verb following 4 cases: a, Verbs end ’o, s, x, sh, ch” => add ’es’ Example: 1, She (to go) to school at 6.15 S V => Verb “to go” ends “o” => we add “es” after “go” => goes => She goes to school at 6.15 2, He (to watch) television every evening => He watches television every evening b, Verbs end ’consonant + y’ => ’y’  ’i’ + ’es’ Example: 1, She (to cry) loudly S V => Verb “to cry” ends “consonant “r” + y” => “y”  “i” + “es” => “cry”  “cries” => She cries loudly 2, He (to try) to learn English well => He tries to learn English well c, Verb ’ Have’  ’Has’ Example: Nam (to have) a new bag => Nam has a new bag d, Verbs in the other cases => add ’s”: Example: 1, He (to get) up at 6 o’clock => He gets up at 6 o’clock 2, Hoa (to listen) to the radio. => Hoa listens to the radio.
