Setting up Your Account The following process is for the USA, but is virtually identical to the setup for Germany and the UK. However, if you are selling in the UK or Germany, you will not be able to change your business entity information later! Don’t worry if you have already entered it—this information is for identification, accounts, and tax information. You can still change your seller name at any time. Note: Wait until you have your company set up, if you plan on using it to register with Amazon. Take the following steps to set up you Seller Central account with Amazon: Go to sellercentral.amazon.com. You will reach a page that looks like this: Click “Register now” underneath “Not already selling on Amazon?” Select one of these options: a Click “Start Selling” to register for a paid professional account. Copyright © 2017 Amazing Selling Machine www.getwsodo.com www.getwsodo.com b Click “Pricing.” On the next page, scroll down and click “Sell as an Individual.” Enter your unique business email address, click the button next to “Create a new account,” then click “Continue.” Enter your first and last name, email address, and a password, then click “Continue.” Enter your legal name or company name (if you have one), check the box next to “I have read and accept the terms of the agreement,” then click “Continue.” Enter your credit or debit card information (or your Payoneer account information), then click “Save & Continue.” Enter your display name (stick with something broad right now, you can change the name at any point in the future), then click “Save & Continue.” Check the box next to either “Call me” or “Send me a text message” (depending on your preference), enter your area code and phone number, select your “Phone Verification Language” from the drop-down menu, then click either “Call me now” or “Text me now.” 10 Enter your one-time PIN, then click “Verify PIN.” 11 Click “Complete Registration,” and you now have a Seller Central account! 12 At the top right of the next screen is a section that looks like this: Copyright © 2017 Amazing Selling Machine www.getwsodo.com www.getwsodo.com 13 Click “Verify Deposit Method Information,” then add your bank account information, so that Amazon can make deposits once you start selling. 3. Tax Interview Depending on which options you chose, you may have to complete a tax interview today—this is likely something that you would have to do at some point, anyway. Answer all of the questions correctly, and you should have no issues. If you live outside of the USA, make sure you select that option at the start of the interview.
