Part 1: Color What was your favourite colour when you were a child? When I was a child, my favourite colour was red As a child I was very active and creative, so red colour always attracted me I’m really keen on the bright color, this make me feel active and creative Most of my clothes are read, blur and yellow which you like the particular colour? Well, it’s difficult for me to pick one particular color to be my favorite If I had to choose, I would probably be blue, Do you think colours are important? Yes, I think colours play an important part of our everyday lives This whole world is made up of different colours and each of them has their unique meaning It's hard to imagine our life without colours What color you dislike? Honest, I’m keen on all kinds of colors, but if I have to choose a kind of color that I like the least, I would choose black because it's often associated with bad luck In my country, people often wear black clothes when someone in their family has passed away Is colour very important to you when you are buying clothes? Most of the time, color doesn't affect my purchasing decisions, but when I buy clothes, I would rather choose bright-colored clothes rather than dark ones because I would look younger in bright-colored clothes What color would you like to paint your bedroom? Well, I would decorate my bedroom green so that I would have the feeling of being close to the nature It would be fantastic to listen to music while looking on the green wall in my bedroom It's very relaxing, isn't it? Robots and machines What you think about robots? To be honest, I don’t really know what to think about them I mean, I know robots have replaced humans in many jobs, which has made life a lot easier, and safer, for us They have contributed to the development of our society, undeniably However, I’m afraid that one day humans will become too dependent on them Dream Do you think dreams have any relevance to real life? I’m no expert but I think dreams must have something to with what happens in real life I’ve read somewhere on the internet that everything that you see in your dream, you must have seen it somewhere in reality, whether you remember it or not Transportation What types public transport can be found in your country? Obviously, there is a mixed variety of public transport in my country When we travel on the roads, it’s easy to find a mass of buses, taxis, or even trains If someone wants to have a long trip, plane is crucial However, the most used would potentially be buses, because they are so cheap and reliable Why types of public transport you use most? I have my own motorbike, so I often use it for moving because of the convenience Are there any public transport problems in your country? With an increase of private cars in my hometown, during the rush hour there are always traffic jams and people often go bananas due to this The road quality, furthermore, is too run-down to meets the needs of the large number of vehicle This might leads to the increase the accident rate recently Reading Do you like reading? Yes, of courses, reading is a useful hobby as reading raises my awarenessv(tăng nhận thức) / enriches my knowledge (làm giàu kiến thức) and broaden my horizon ( mở mang kiến thức, mở rộng chân trời) What kind of books you usually read? I’m pretty keen on/ a big fan of romance novels as it helps me purify my heart (làm sang tâm hồn ) and blow my mind ( làm cảm xúc thăng hoa) How many hours a day would you say you spend on reading? Every day before sleep, I could say that the amount of time spent for books is abundant Where you usually read? I’m really into a comfortable atmosphere so a serene and tranquil (yên tĩnh, tĩnh lặng) such as a library or a cafe is ideal / optimal (best) for me Do you think children like reading nowadays? Yes, probably yes I guess children nowadays are really into kind of books such as comic books,fairy tales and adventures Purpose of reading I read comics to have fun after exhausted work Meanwhile, I find newspapers as a way to keep up with the latest news Therefore, I think I read for both recreation and getting information Teachers What’s your opinion of teachers? I respect teachers enormously They allow children to grow into educated and intelligent people Do you think it’s important to like your teachers? I don’t think so It is essential that we are into teachers’ lessons and lectures, not their personal characters In fact, if we see teachers as our friends, it could cause some problems down the line Did any teachers in your high school have a big influence on you? Certainly, I was lucky enough to study with a few amazing teacher, but the most impressive one is my history teacher in high school He was incredibly knowledgeable He is also a warm – hearted person, he always give others a hand when people are in trouble Were your high school teachers very strict? Some of my teachers were very strict, while others were more chilled out (thư giãn, thoải mái) and let us get away with (để thoát đấy) many mistakes we made What sort of personality teachers need to have?/ be a good teacher Honestly, I’m not sure about that, because being a teacher You need to be patient, devoted, and other active personal characteristic You also need to be knowledgeable and highly disciplined I don’t think I could positively be a good teacher Gift When you normally give gifts to other people? I suppose on special occasion like most people So on birthdays, anniversaries, and at special times of year like Christmas, oh and for special events like a graduation or birth of a child as well And then sometimes I buy small gifts for my friends just because I want to or because maybe one of them feels sad or has had a difficult time, or I just see something and think that a particular person would love that - What kind of gifts people often give each other in your country? In my country, people usually choose to give each other money as a gift because it is not always easy to guess what people want, so sometimes you may spend lots of money on something that is not going to be used at all In order to avoid this from happening, Vietnamese prefer giving each other money so that the receivers can get themselves whatever they want Văn Miếu quốc tử Giám (history place) Well, today I would to tell you about the Historical Building I had chance to visit which is the Temple of Literature The Temple of Literature is one of the oldest structures of Vietnam and is a must-see travel destination of Ha Noi – the capital of Viet Nam The Temple of Literature was built in 1070 at the time of King Ly Thanh Tong and reconstructed during subsequent dynasties The temple is located to the South of Thang Long Citadel, originally a university dedicated to Scholars This building is a super example of typical traditional Vietnamese architecture(a ki tếch trờ), composed of wood and tile Along the paths are hundred – year-old trees witnessing ups and downs of history Well, there are several reasons why I’m really into the Temple of Literature First, the Temple of Literature is a magnificent building as the most renowned landmark of academia of Vietnam Besides, I agree that the Temple of Literature is the symbol of Vietnamese culture Last but not least, it attracts lot of visitors, both local residents and foreigners, which brings about revenue for my country Old Person Describe an old person that I admire MY GRANDMOTHER - WHO THIS PERSON IS: + Well, today I would like to tell you about an old person I admire: my grandmother My grandmother still lives her life to the fullest despite being an old lady - HOW DO YOU KNOW THIS PERSON: I have known my grandmother for my whole life At least a few times every year, my family drives down to visit her in my dad’s hometown - WHAT KIND OF PERSON IS + My grandmother is getting on a bit (hoi gia di) now- she’s nearly 80 years old But she still has the energy of a woman half her age She’s active and sociable She always go to the part at the morning to exercise with friends + Furthermore, she is a tough woman as her husband passed away many years ago She raised my dad and his four siblings up by herself - WHY YOU ADMIRE Well, I admire her for several reasons + First of all, it’s because of her inner strength Although she lived her life with a lack of financial and emotional supports, she was able to carry on with life in an enthusiastic way + Moreover, she is warm – hearted person as she is always willing to give other a hand when they are in trouble, and she also take part in volunteering work + Experienced and wise, she has been through many ups and downs in life, rich experiences and she can explain any kind of question I raise to her/him For all above reasons, whenever talking about […topic…], my grandmother pops up in my mind + famous person thêm ý này: He/she is one of the most renowned and well-known people in the world so I have read and listened many articles and programs about him/her • As far as I’ve known, he/she is such a warm- hearted and helpful person he is always willing to take part in volunteering work and raise fund to help the poor and the disabled children • Talented and successful: although Bill Gates hasn’t finished/ accomplished his Bachelor’s degree yet, he can still make a revolution in technology world Part 3: Wedding ... maybe one of them feels sad or has had a difficult time, or I just see something and think that a particular person would love that - What kind of gifts people often give each other in your country?... must-see travel destination of Ha Noi – the capital of Viet Nam The Temple of Literature was built in 10 70 at the time of King Ly Thanh Tong and reconstructed during subsequent dynasties The temple... she still has the energy of a woman half her age She’s active and sociable She always go to the part at the morning to exercise with friends + Furthermore, she is a tough woman as her husband
