INTRODUCTION

HandyMan is a cross-platform service that provides a connection platform for HandyMen and users who require repairing, installation, or maintenance services for their homes or workplaces The business idea is based on identifying pain points from two sides, the side

of the consumers and the side of the repairmen To test the feasibility of the business, a survey was conducted with 110 samples, which resulted in the majority of the respondents feeling the need for an app or website that can provide installation, repair, and upgrade services and connecting customers The business model includes two main customer segments, individual customers, and small business owners, while repairmen make up the third customer segment The value proposition of Handy Man is based on convenience, easy-to-use booking, and payment systems, customized services, quality workmanship, professional and experienced technicians, and job matching The channels of the business include a website, a mobile app, and an integrated marketing system Additionally, the business maintains strong customer relationships through self-service, personal assistance, and community building By using these channels and customer relationships, HandyMan provides a comprehensive and user-friendly platform for customers to find and book qualified technicians for their home repairs and improvements

There is a high demand for repair, installation, and maintenance of residential and workplace accommodations, which is often difficult to fulfill due to the lack of reliable and skilled repairmen According to data from the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, the labor market is growing, but finding suitable jobs is still challenging, especially due to communication issues and inadequate access to potential customers This has led to a stagnation of the market and created an imbalance in service fees, resulting in unstable jobs and difficult lives for many workers To address these pain points, the team developed

"HandyMan," a cross-platform service (app and website) that connects skilled repairmen with customers in need of repair, installation, and maintenance services The application will provide a safe and convenient solution for both workers and customers and help fulfill the high demand for residential and workplace maintenance services

1.2 TESTING ASSUMPTION

The demand for repair, installation, and maintenance services for residences and workplaces

is significant, according to a survey conducted with 100 participants The survey revealed that 96% of respondents expressed a need for such services, but 84% of them found it challenging to locate suitable repairmen due to a lack of time or too many options The team behind HandyMan recognized this issue and developed a cross-platform service, including

an app and website, to connect skilled repairmen with potential customers This technology aims to solve the problem of finding a customer for workers and providing a safe solution for skilled workers who have difficulty finding suitable jobs To test the feasibility of the business idea, a survey was conducted, and the results showed that 79% of respondents who need to connect with customers found it challenging to do so Additionally, 75% of all respondents preferred the app over the website, and the team decided to develop both platforms, focusing more on the app Overall, HandyMan aims to connect customers in need of utility services, installation, maintenance, and repair with skilled repairmen and reputable service providers.

The customer segments for the HandyMan application include a mass market of both individual customers and business customers Individual customers consist of homeowners who own a house or apartment and need repairs or maintenance services, as well as renters who are renting a house or apartment and require similar services On the other hand, business customers include small business owners who need repair or maintenance services for their office or commercial space, as well as property managers who manage multiple properties and require similar services

In addition to the customer segments, the HandyMan application also aims to cater to skilled workers such as repairmen, installers, maintenance mechanics, and repairers who specialize in repairing, maintaining, and installing services These individuals are often independent contractors or small business owners who may not have a large customer base

or resources to advertise their services widely Therefore, the HandyMan application provides them with a platform to showcase their skills and services, as well as find job opportunities and connect with potential customers

The value propositions of HandyMan can be segmented into two groups: for repairmen and for inditviduals/businesses that need repair, installation, and maintenance services For repairmen, the app offers an easy-to-use booking and payment system that helps them manage their schedule and get paid for their work The app also uses geolocation and mapping technology to match repairmen with nearby customers, saving them time and money on travel Additionally, the app's algorithms and customer reviews can help repairmen find jobs that fit their skills and experience, leading to higher job satisfaction and better customer outcomes By investing in advanced algorithms that better match repairmen with customers based on their skills and experience, HandyMan can offer a differentiated service from its competitors.

we provide self-service options within the app and website, allowing customers to create accounts, view technician profiles, and book services through a simple booking form Additionally, customers can access an online dashboard to view their booking history, Invoices, receipts, and payments

We also offer personal assistance through chat or phone support to handle inquiries, and complaints, and provide guidance throughout the service process Our knowledge base and FAQ section can assist customers in troubleshooting common issues

Furthermore, to foster community building, we have created a platform for customers and repairmen to share experiences and tips with each other, encouraging engagement, support, and loyalty We offer a blog section featuring home repair and improvement tips, customer success stories, and reviews We also provide a ratings and review system that allows customers to rate and review technicians based on their service quality and professionalism

By utilizing these channels and building strong customer relationships, our website and app can offer a reliable source of income for the business by earning commissions on each transaction made through the platform Ultimately, we aim to establish a loyal customer

The mobile app can provide a convenient and easy-to-use platform for customers to access the website and book services from their smartphones Push notifications can be sent to remind customers of upcoming appointments and to offer special deals and promotions

In addition to these features, the website can utilize an integrated marketing system to promote the platform and engage with potential customers A strong social media presence
