Looking at table 2.1 on the situation of capital mobilization of the branch over the three years from 2018 to 2020 for the mobilized capital of Agribank Cho Con-South of Da Nang, increased gradually over the years, the main source of capital mobilization from receiving deposits, in particular, term deposits accounted for the highest proportion and accounted for over 80% of the total mobilized capital of the branch
Mobilized capital in 2019 of the branch increased by VND 91,790 million compared to 2018 and increased by 27.68% respectively In 2020, the mobilized capital of the branch increased by VND 128,567 million compared to 2019, corresponding to an mcrease of 30.36% Specifically, the mobilized capital from receiving money from residents in 2019 of the branch increased by VND 83,912 million compared to 2018, corresponding to an increase of 27.57% and in 2020 this capital increased by VND 114,914 million, corresponding to the increase is 29.60% In particular, demand deposits in 2019 increased by VND 25,758 million compared to 2018, equivalent to an increase of 51.66% and 2019 increased by VND 7.329 million compared to 2017, equivalent to an increase of 9, 69% To achieve this growth rate, the branch took full advantage of demand deposits by issuing atm cards for customers who are students and employees Although this source is not stable, under the efforts of branches, this source tends to increase over the years In addition, the capital mobilized from term deposits of the branch also grew steadily over the years
