1.2 System Requirements:

1.2.1 The course’s purposes:

The course “Introduction to Logistics and Supply Chain Management” offersstudents opportunities to have real experience via building assigned systems’prototypes To be specific, students are supposed to:

❖ Comprehend the definition of System and its components;

❖ Be able to design, to build, and to operate a system to produce the expectedoutput;

❖ Be able to optimize the inputs of the system, such as materials, time, etc;

❖ Develop important soft skills, such as teamwork, problem-solving, etc

1.2.2 Problem Statement:

Table football (marbles) is developing strongly, this subject is quickly coming toplay by many people of different ages, thereby acquiring the most basic knowledgeabout this subject Young people who come to this subject are very crowdedbecause it is one of the interesting subjects right now

In recent years, table football has developed very strongly in Vietnam Thisballistics game helps players get perseverance, good thinking, and agility Thatleads to making very good results in health, comforting to work better

The subject quickly was chosen by many clubs, office companies, schools andentertainment areas to serve everyone Thereby in the near future, this subject will

be strongly popularized to more people

1.3 Objectives:

This project aims to illustrate the interest of table football in mini version

The mini-ball table is designed as a miniature model of a football match on thefield and includes 2 teams Players of each team will be fastened on the horizontalbars placed in staggered positions, from which players can easily move the playerand put the ball at will

With this ball table set, people can play 2 people or otherwise it is still very good

to play alone because it will forge the flexibility of the parts

Each match took place quickly with the kicking changing in many unexpecteddirections between attack and defense, extremely fierce and attractive resistance.Players manipulate the rods to control the figures, using them to hold up, pass or'kick' the ball Games begin when the ball is served through a hole at the side of thetable, or simply placed by hand at the feet of a figure in the centre of the table Acoin toss is usually used to determine which player or team serves first If it is notthe first match or if the ball gets out of play or if the ball suddenly stops out, thenthe team scored last would get the serve after he scores one The term for when theball leaves the table or gets stopped somewhere out of the men-like figures’ reach

is dead ball Expert players have been known to move balls at speeds up to 56km/h (35 mph) in competition

Besides the construction, students are supposed to meet the requirements of thecourse after having finished the prototype of the assigned system in academic andinterpersonal skill terms When participating in the game, you can also practiceskills such as quick reflexes, thereby creating a smooth coordination betweenhands, eyes, and brain

1.4 Scope and Limitations:

● Limited about the time:

➔ Time is limited so there is not enough time to learn more about the footballtable

➔ Foosball table is the first model of marbles, so there is no template andexperience to complete the table better.

CHAPTER 2 - SYSTEM DESCRIPTION

2.1 Conceptual Design/ Conceptual Model:

● Small mica plate with 10mm thick

● 12 ball-bearings

● 6 stainless steel bars

2.1.2 Process:

Our table operation is divided into 4 phases:

● Phase 1: Cutting laser and 3D-printed

- Cut laser the large mica plate with 5mm thick into 2 goal walls with size300x78mm, 2 side walls with size 640x78mm and the ball pitch with size630x300mm

- Cut a laser small mica plate into 4 pieces used to form the table base and toconnect all the walls together

- Printing 3D 6 handles

- Printing 3D 12 football-players

● Phase 2: Drill and create taro

- Drill holes to attach the table legs to the sides of the table

- Create taro the table base so that the screws can be attached

● Phase 3: Decorate the foosball table

- Stick the ball pitch decal on the table surface

- Stick the decal on the sides of the table

● Phase 4: Assemble the table

- The first is to fix the walls together, then attach the base to the walls to fix

the table

- The second is to attach the player to the stainless steel bars.

- The third is to attach the ball bearing to the cut holes on the side walls.Then, attach the stainless steel bars to the attached ball bearings

2.1.3 Outputs:

Our foosball table is expected to produce outputs:

● The table can be fixed firmly

● When playing it can be smooth without having problems with stainless steelbars or the goal

2.2 Operation description:

Step 1: Decide all dimensions and the design.

Step 2: Draw 3D design.

Step 3: Draw each of the elements (table base, 4 sides around, 4 leg-pieces) then

use laser machine to cut it out in mica pieces

Step 4: Print 3D 12 foosball players and 6 handles by printing 3D machine The

material used for printing is ASA, with the white color

Step 5: Drill and screw 4 sides around together and also 4 leg-pieces to the

backside of the table base

Step 6: Assemble all the things.

Step 7: Attach players to the rods There are a total of 6 rods, 3 on each side then

insert them to the table and finally attach the handles

2.3 The design:

2.3.1 Function:

When participating in the game, you can also practice skills such as quick reflexes,thereby creating a rhythmic coordination between hands, eyes, and brain.Moveover, with a game that brings thrill, excitement and concentration and effortlike a ball, it also helps players relieve stress after a hard working and studyingday

- Length sides with 6 holes diameter 28mm (2)

 The table base:

The table base is put on 4 legs which is fixed in 4 conners with 2 length sides and 2width sides Its dimension (length x width x thickness) is 630x300x5 (mm) We cut

it by using the laser machine The design in laserCAD program is shown below

With the layer parameters:

Since we use the red mica, we print grass pitch background decal and stick it onplayfield surface to make it more attractive instead of drawing line in it

We define the position of all foosmen (X for member of team red and O for team blue):

The stainless steel bars:

After assembling, we realize some error:

- The distance between the goalkeeper and the width side is too close (15mm)for it to kick the ball with all its strength

- When we drill and wrench screws, there is not accurate, so the playfield is notreally fit the space Therefore, the moving is not smooth when playing game

- The bars is not straight

 The width side (the goal wall):

The 2 goal walls are attached to the ball pitch and side walls by the 4 table base.Their dimension (length x width x thickness) are 113x78x5 (mm) We cut them byusing the laser machine The picture below is the design in the laser CAD program

Because we use the red mica and we want to decorate the foosball table, we stickthe wood drain decal on both the side walls and goal walls.

 The length side (the side wall):

The two side wall are made from a flat mica with thickness of 5mm is cut by lasermachine with the length of 640 mm is tiny larger than the length of the footballfield to fit with the goal wall; the width is 113mm

It has 6 circular holes with diameter is � = 22.5mm for each Ball - bearing is

installed to withstand force, reduce friction and assist with rotation when 6stainless steel bars are inserted to the table

The foosballmen is 3D printed by the stratasys F370 machine We download the3D drawing and then use program to adjust the parameters so that foosballmen canfit in our mini foosball table We have 12 foosballmen

 Assembly:

- Step 1: Attach one length side and one width side with one leg-piece for one corner by wrenching tightly enough screws from the outside of the two walls Do the same for the three other corners

- Step 2: Wrench four bolts to four leg-pieces

- Step 3: Put the table base (playfield) in the space created by four walls and above four leg-pieces

- Step 4: Insert the bars in to the table and attach the player to the bars

- Step 5: Attach the handles and the stoppers to the bars

CHAPTER 3 - CONCLUSIONS

3.1 Advantages:

- Have entertainment function

- Build communication among people

- Be convenient and good for health as an indoor sport

- Have an affordable price

- Be suitable for all ages

- Be compact, in order to not take up large space

- Bring a comfortable feeling when playing thanks to the smoothness of parts,brain and limb movement

- Help limit smartphone usage which harms eyes during breaks

- Help players practice strong and flexible hands, mental concentration, reflex andjudgment

Moreover, experience with mini table football is not as good as experience withlarge table football

3.3 Application:

Football table is a great game for people of all ages that is the reason for it is used

in not only playing but also displaying purpose There are many places that havefootball tables such as: clubs, hotels, entertainment places in shopping malls,offices and many houses
