Branch O Dua should provide recommendations and Ch uy ên đề solutions to enhance Consuming Lending Activities for the next time 54 CHAPTER SOME REVIEWS AND RECOMMENDATIONS TO IMPROVE THE EFFICIENCY OF CONSUMER LOANS AT COMMERCIAL BANKS OF ASIA - O CHO DUA BRANCH I / Reviews iệ p / Strengths gh Asia Commercial Bank - O Cho Dua branch located on densely populated tn areas with many companies, and especially many large wholesale markets so Tố profitable in raising funds as allocated credit cxung special as consumer credit Moreover, O Cho Dua branch-based condition, spacious premises, underground tậ p parking convenient for customers that also contributed to creating conditions to ực attract customers th Banks have effective policies of human ,leading to good promote of staffs’ capacities Staffs are sent regularly to attend training to improve their knowledge đề The staff of the bank have professional qualifications, young, enthusiastic, dynamic, ên always interested in quality of service, remind each other and especially always uy highly disciplined, with refined good solidarity Currently, ACB have separate customes coming to ACB Ch departments of professional marketing and customer search, thus more and more As one of the Bank was first established in the areas should ACB - O Cho Dua branch has made a reputation and customer faith and in addition is the policyis flexible, thoughtful considerate service, paying the way for many customers come to the bank despite the fact that there are still many other banks are competing Banks constantly improve the quality and technological improvements, means working to high labor productivity, efficiency and great work 55 / Weaknesses Not maximizing sales of consumer loans: Besides the strengths remain many weaknesses should not maximum consumer loan sales particularly in recent years sales of consumer loans in the ACB - O Cho Dua, brings many advantages, but the rate nhuaj This accounts for about 37% of total deposits Thus in 2016 the target's board of directors has increased the levels to approximately 1.5 billion to enhance the operational efficiency of the bank iệ p Dogn marketing activity of banks is weak: Since start-up team tasked PFC search marketing and customer should still not gh be made good, professionalism is not high, more the number of employees PFC tn regular fluctuations are underperforming brands too Fierce internal competition Tố among branches of ACB, PFC's many branches due to pressure on sales should p have to reduce the maximum interest rates for customers, affecting the overall ực Collateral valuation far below its real value tậ profitability and existing customers th The valuation of these assets Boa lower than market value would greatly đề ensure the safety of bank BOA before the change in price of these assets is not the ên primary source collections that evaluators must base on source of repayment and uy repayment capacity of the customer But low valuations will affect the bank's Ch lending rate and not maximum sales of consumer loans When evaluating employees and not paying much attention to the volatility of customer repayment source in the future Activities of credit center (CIC) not very effective Credit Information Center (CIC: credit information center) by state-owned banks established to collect information and provide credit information, support credit activities of banks However, this center provides only general information and are not updated regularly, it is not is providing reliable information to the banks 56 Most customers east habitually use banking services These clients have needs but have not been exposed to banks and concerns cumbersome procedures (eg go notarized papers and additional supplements must complete before disbursement records) should not want to deal with banks restaurant only accepts external loans with high interest rates or delivered to the credit agency a12 significantly affected the credit activity of banks Customer information supplied is not accurate Since most customers consumer loans at ACB - O Cho Dua individuals and iệ p households, so the quality of their financial information is not high and difficult to gh control Information on estimated ordinary income because there is no proof of tn income chungt yeah On the other hand to be able to get a loan customers willing to ofoperation of the improving credit quality of credit p To ensure the safe Tố declare untrue that caused major obstacles for credit officers in the evaluation work tậ information center is very important ực Bank documents state should compel banks to provide daily information to th CIC Also clearly defined responsibilities for each object in charge of information đề disclosure In addition to information on credit, CIC should have printed other economic data relating to customers, the level of confidence for our customers uy ên / About ACB - O Cho Dua Ch 3.1 Completion and implementation of strict lending process - How well the customer appraisal Analysis right ability and willingness to repay the customer's credit staff should pay more attention to the analysis of usability as well as the loan repayment ability If done well this stage will significantly reduce the risk for the bank and the customer know the information supplied is not accurate for the customer attitude Perform well the test well after the disbursement No credit should be allocated staff performing this work because they are too busy with the granting of credit, which should be allocated to additional credit 57 officers or department specializing in this work If so while improving current work performance of credit personnel both maintain and develop relationships with customers, find new customers through existing customers, reduce risk and better service for the reception Marketing 3.2 Diversification of consumer credit products and promoting consumer’s reputation loans The diversification of credit products help banks dispersion and minimize risks Increased capital efficiency, increase loan sales, increased competition with For small loans, customers have good financial resources so not need tn networks gh iệ p other banks, particularly in the current period increased scale and operating Tố collateral, as traders in the market just confirm management's and the lease market p stalls, business license can be considered tậ 3.3 Do not see collateral is primarily base to make lending decisions ực Collateral is the secondary source of repayment, prevent customer risk losing th the ability to pay debts to banks, not borrowers game absoluteness of collateral đề because: A good analysis of financial factors as well as other elements of the customer uy ên is now the role of collateral is not necessary The purpose of the lending bank's own debt recovery from the repayment Ch capacity of the customer, not from the liquidation of collateral Moreover, consumer loans are relatively small loans, customers uncomfortable when mortgage but their ability to repay the bank balance of power Collateral real estate mainly to low liquidity Besides cost and procedure for the release of assets is not always low and simple For these reasons, banks should be flexible mortgage conditions for collateral when lending decisions If customers have the capacity and the need to accept bank loans 58 exceeding 70% of these assets as current regulations Housing remains an area of less than 20m2 acceptable if good position Banks should also diversify collateral The capital brought into the case quickly and fast withdrawal should also consider not need collateral 3.4 Valuation of collateral shoulg be scientifically accurate Property Valuation Division should ensure more accurate pricing , close to half the market price may decide the maximum for customers and increased sales of iệ p bank lending 3.5 Promote marketing strategies bank gh In today's competitive environment the marketing bank is indispensable The tn effects of marketing are: Tố - Search for potential customers, expanding the market of banking activities tậ p - Help banks actively towards customers and customer service ực - The hedging instruments remotely effective th Therefore, banks should: establish department responsible for marketing the bank: đề Recommended not depend on the marketing strategy of the headquarters, ACB uy Identify your target market ên - O Cho Dua should establish this department to perform the following tasks: market Ch + Analysis of the target market and offer new products to suit the needs of the + Look at the policies of other banks to make competition policy effectively + Remarketing old customers + Enhanced marketing 59 CONCLUSION It can be said, in recent years, under the wise leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam , the country's economy should grow at a high speed, the average GDP of 7.4%, the life of the people is being improved In the near future, Viet Nam AFTA integration and accession to the World iệ p Trade organization (WTO) This facilitates Viet Nan international economic integration, education nghiejemcuar world countries but cxung put Viet Nam in a gh fiercely competitive environment, where the banking sector is a good example tn Integration will create favorable conditions for foreign banks entering Viet Nam Tố market, so the competition between commercial banks became more intense, but if p the banks not timely comprehensive reform , capture the market will become tậ obsolete and will be left behind ực Personal consum loans are a form of lending in Viet Nam is relatively new but th has been the commercial banks to focus on developing and in future these types of đề loans will grow further ên Asia Commercial Bank - O Cho Dua branch has made remarkable achievements In the coming time, the branch continues to grow and diversify uy banking products and services, which are still most interested in credit activities as Ch these are activities mainly generate profits for the bank Foreseeing the trend of the market towards the consumer., Branch was interested in developing and expanding Series to consumer loans to provide customers with new gadgets to satisfy their consumption needs Although still difficult for facilities and personnel but with the collective determination of leaders and staff, to make sure the next time, ACB -
