Edition 06.2009 ♦ Torque wrench -V.A.G 1331- ♦ Charging device for Haldex coupling -VAS 6291- Test condition: • Vehicle must be level (horizontal) • For gear oil specification for rear final drive, refer to ⇒ Elec‐ tronic parts catalogue Checking oil level – Position drip tray -VAS 6208- under final drive – Unscrew plug -1- The oil level is correct when the rear final drive is filled to the bottom lip of the filler hole – Screw in plug -1- and tighten Tightening torque: 15 Nm Topping up with oil: – Using charging device for Haldex coupling -VAS 6291- , fill up with oil until oil comes out between final drive housing and adapter of charging device – Remove charging device and adapter; a certain amount of surplus oil may now come out The oil level is correct when the rear final drive is filled to the bottom lip of the filler hole – Screw in plug -1- and tighten 124 Rep Gr.39 -
