Why? First, I like living in a big city because city life provide all the advantages of modern society Health care is excellent There are many good school and university for students Second, Shopping is convenient, we can find all forms of entertainment such as cinema, playground… Third, in a big city has many beautiful park, delicious restaurant,… However, I like going on a picnic or a vacation to the countryside Every year, in summer, I often visit the country where my farents were born I stay there for a few day or a few weeks I consider it a change That all for my topic Thank for your listening!!! 4) What subjects you especially or avoid discussing with your family? The members of my family often have idle talks (cuộc đàm phán nhàn rỗi) or gossip(tán gẫu) around the dinning table or in the living room: First, we often talk about the cost of living (chi phí sinh hoạt) that rises (tăng) day after day, about the money or salary we earn every month Second, we talk about the illnesses whenever someone gets sick We remind one another (nhắc nhở nhau) the ways to maintain health Third, we also talk about the news, musics, sports… Sometimes, we discuss the polities at dinning table… That all for my topic Thank for your listening!!! 5) People many different things to stay healthy What you for good health? In order to have good health anh to stay healthy Fristly, we should morning exercises Every morning, we should get up early, walk or jog for at least 30 minutes Secondly, we should eat good foods such as meats, fruits , vegetables, beef…We shouldn’t eat too much fat or things sugar We should drink many water because our bodies are mainly water Thirdly, doing things that we believe are right and good It make us be nicer people and is good for our spirit… That all for my topic Thank for your listening!!! 6) You have the opportunity to visit a foreign country for two weeks Which country would you like to visit? Why? If I have opportunity to visit a foreign country for two weeks, I will go France I want to visit France because of the following reason Fristly, France is the tourist paradise You can coming the Loire valley and discover more than 40 beautiful castles and many story fairy around it Secondly, in France, local food is good and attractive Especially, France has many cheese made from many different materials Thirdly, in France, the climate is cool and fresh Here, you can seeing the Eiffel Tower and enjoy the wine… That all for my topic Thank for your listening!!! 7) What three countries would you most like to visit? Why? If I had an oppotunity to visit a foreign country, I would choose Thailand Singapore and Australia The reason why I choose Thailand is that it ‘s one of the cheapest trips The cost of living in Thailand is the same as in Vietnam Besides, I like visiting the pagodas there Singapore also attractive me because it takes me just an hour to fly there Many tourist compliment Singapore.Here, clean air and beautiful parks Besides,it is city safely and security Australia is also attractive with famous cities like Sidney, Melbourne, Canberra…These cities are famous for their environment friendly because people there make their environment a better place to live… That all for my topic Thank for your listening!!! 8) Some people prefer to live in a small town,others people prefer to live in a big city Which place would you prefer to live in? Young people prefer to live in a big city They like excitement there The streets have stores, supermarket, restaurants…Many students decide to stay in a big cities because it’s easy to receive scholarship or find a good job Old people like living in a small town or contryside because it has fresh air, green grass , clean roads…I also like living in a small town, where the cost of living is not expensive and peace I love a small town with garden and fresh air That all for my topic Thank for your listening!!! 9) Some people prefer to eat at food stands or restaurant Others people prefer to prepare and eat food at home Which you prefer? People with a large family prefer to prepare and eat food at home Of course, cooking at home is good for health and cheaper than eating out Businessmen and tourists, who live far from home often eat in restaurants Here, they can choose any kind of food they want for example foods with more or fewer calories and fat As for me, I’m a student, who live far from home, I often have meals in a small food stands or eat in dormitory I can save a lot of money by eating in there places… That all for my topic Thank for your listening!!! 10) How can you improve English outside the classroom? Fristly, we can improve English outside the classroom if we have opportunities to communicate with foreigner or native speakers, who use English clearly Secondly, we can attend a speaking club, where we practise speaking English with other people about different topics Thirdly, we can improve english with a cable television set, we have several channels in English Try to watch these programs, then our English will improve That all for my topic Thank for your listening!!! 11) Which you prefer, traditional food or fast food such as hamburger, pizza…? Young people and children nowadays enjoy fast food such as hamburger, pizza, sandwiches…as well as energy drinks The reason they like to eat fast food because they are given more pocket money, them parents don’t have time to prepare meals at home In my opinion, traditional food are good for health and cheap They are not too much processed with fat and sugar So, eating traditional foods help us avoid diseases as obesity ( béo phì) and diabetes (tiểu đường)… That all for my topic Thank for your listening!!! 12) What is your public transport like in your city How you think it could be improve? In HCM city, public transport is a problem for city people The streets are crowed with several kind of vehicle such as buses, taxis, motorbikes, bicycles…Traffic policemen have to work very hard to prevent traffic jams and accidents…I think we should set up “new city” in the suburbs (vùng ngoại ô) and widen the roads In the future, we should construct subways, elevated trains (cao), electric trams (xe điện)… That all for my topic.Thank for your listening!!! 13) Are cell phones popular in your country ? Do you own one? If no, what you use it for and Why? Cell phones are very popular in our country Most people have cell phone, I also have a cell phone When we have cell phone, we can communicate with one another whenever and wherever we want Cell phones today have a lot of utilities (tiện dụng), so, they are very useful for of us in every field of activity Sometimes, the only trouble is that there may be technical breakdowns (sự cố) on the switchboard (tổng đài) that cause some temporary difficulty in communicate That all for my topic.Thank for your listening!!! 14) What are the advantages and disvantages of city life and country life? There are some advantages of country life The country life is peaceful there 's no heavy traffic, no rush of the crowd The country life reduces stress, enhances health The disadvantages are that there aren't many activities There aren't many good jobs, so, many students stay in the city after graduation City life has a lot of advantages There are a lot of good jobs in many fields for people to choose Life is challenging But the disadvantages are that foods, transportation, housing are expensive The air is polluted by poisonous gases vehicle and from factories That all for my topic.Thank for your listening!!! 15) There has been large scale migration (sự di dân) from the countryside to the cities you think it positive or negative? More and more people leave the countryside and live in the big cities I think this movement is positive Firstly, in rural areas, it 's difficulty to raise the standard of living with small family farms People who have opportunities often move to the cities, especially to look for jobs Secondly, living in the cities allows people to make use of better education, healthcare, housing, transportation Thirdly, in some areas, the migrant people may be to the suburbs, which are far from crowded city center and live a peaceful life That all for my topic.Thank for your listening!!!
