In fact, lack of vocabulary knowledge is a big communicating and studying other skills as well Thornbury, 2002:13) once said, "If obstacle for students when As Dellar and Hocking (in you spend most of your time studying grammar, your English will not improve very much You will see most improvement if you leam more words and expressions You can say very little with gftunmar, but you can say almost anything with word." It means the students may deal with some diffrculties in learning a foreign language if they have a limited vocabulary Clearly, remembering of the words is very important Thombury e002:23) states ,.The learner needs not only to learn a lot of words, but to remember them.,' Students often forget the words they have learnt before or they are conflr.sed in using words '*6s1 selslrrnicating Althorrgh they spend much time for memorizing vocabulary, APPENDIX4 vocABULARY TEST (POST-TEST) Time allowance: 30 minutes I Date: March}},2015 Multiple choice (2 marks) l A holiday which is organized by a travel agent includes the cost of your hotel and transport A Package holiday C B Summer holiday D A holiday spent in the mountains A moving across the snow What is it?
