279 APPENDIX A Foundations of assessment of CO2 Emissions This appendix describes the main elements of the formulas used to calculate CO2 emissions, followed by the effects of CO2 emissions caused by CO2 emissions such as CO2, CO2 value emissions intensity, CO2 tax from the fields of emissions and Price impact of the carbon employment impact of carbon tax from the effects of CO2 emissions The allocation of CO2 emissions to responsible sectors of the economy are calculated from the input-output tables for the base year 2014 and the other six scenarios in 2030 In this study, there sectors include of agriculture, energy, water, industry, transport, services and residential in all scenarios The energy consumption is also estimated based on the statistics of price per energy unit for example electricity price, coal, gasoline is collected for sufficiently transforming to Petajoules (PJ) The statistics include of official publication from MOIT (2011), Make a list of key energy use, Government Decree No 3505/BCT-KHCN on listing the main energy use facilities which provides basis information about fuel type in toe per energy unit In addition, the decision MOIT 2014, Regulations on electricity price, Government Decree No 887/QĐ-BCT in regulate the price of electricity is collected to express for the energy consumption The CO2 emissions (Proops, Faber & Wagenhals 1993) from the particular activity can be calculated by multiplying the energy consumption by that activity with fuel emission factor as: E = eCeX Where E: maxtrix the vector of CO2 emissions from each sector (Mt) e: vector of fixed CO2 emission factor for each type of fuel (Mt per PJ) Ce: vector of fix energy or fuel conversion (PJ per $) X: vector of the total output ($) (A-1)
