DONOR DESIGNATIONS PAID TO TWIN COUNTY UNITED WAY PARTNER NONPROFITS $ 699,623 DONOR DESIGNATIONS PAID TO OTHER LOCAL NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS DONOR DESIGNATIONS PAID TO NON-LOCAL NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS DIRECT PAY (DESIGNATIONS RAISED BY UNITED WAY AND SENT DIRECTLY TO NONPROFITS FROM COMPANIES) (87,241) (12,712) (3,163) (109,887) BUDGETED PLEDGE LOSS BUDGETED PROGRAM, ADMINISTRATION AND FUNDRAISING EXPENSES (17,692) (5,610) (CORPORATE CHAMPIONS COVER MAJORITY OF ADMINISTRATIVE AND FUNDRAISING COSTS) COMMUNITY FUND FOR 2018-2019 GRANTS CAMPAIGN Undesignated Gifts CAMPAIGN Designated Gifts and Direct Pay Corporate Champions Events and Endowment In-Kind and Other $ 463,318 2017-18 FUNDING SOURCES Corporate Champions cover the majority of administrative and fundraising expenses of the Twin County United Way This allows more of individual donor dollars to go directly to local programs and services Designated and direct pay campaign gifts are dispersed according to specific donor instructions The Twin County United Way makes it convenient for donors to support their favorite charitable organizations Undesignated campaign funds allow the Twin County United Way to leverage donor dollars and provide resources where support is needed most This is the Community Fund COMMUNITY FUND GRANTS paid out in 2017: $448,879 The Twin County United Way Community Fund Grants are invested in local nonprofit programs in these areas: EDUCATION: Helping children succeed at school, graduate on time prepared for a strong future INCOME: Helping local families and individuals achieve financial independence HEALTH: Improving health outcomes through preventative action and access to care KINDERGARTEN READY! The Twin County United Way supports Kindergarten Boot Camps and other kindergarten readiness efforts to help ensure children have the essential skills they need to begin school ready to succeed Special thanks to Women United and funding from the Laura Moore Cunningham Foundation and Wells Fargo FAMILYWIZE PRESCRIPTION DISCOUNT PROGRAM: Twin County United Way partners with Familywize to offer FREE prescription saving cards In 2017, nearly 2,000 people used the cards and saved $89,000 COVER PHOTOS: TWIN COUNTY UNITED WAY DAYS OF CARING LEWISTON HIGH SCHOOL DAY OF CARING | AUG 23, 2017 250 Lewiston High School seniors spent a portion of the first day of school volunteering CLARKSTON HIGH SCHOOL DAY OF CARING | OCT 20, 2017 Included in Homecoming activities, 100 Clarkston High School students volunteered 22nd ANNUAL DAY OF CARING | May 11, 2018 400 community volunteers participated in the Twin County United Way’s Annual Day of Caring ii  | Twin County United Way TWIN COUNTY UNITED WAY 2017 CAMPAIGN TEAM 2017 -
