Provide a brief description of any such examples  Contact your organization’s relevant internal contacts (grants, contracting, OSP) to prepare internal systems for receiving new agreement  Assist in facilitating signature process for new agreement, ensure your organization’s relevant contacts receive agreement, June/July 2020 16 PNW CESU Federal Managers Committee Responsibilities for renewal:     Assess PNW CESU activities over the last years Based on experiences with nonfederal partners, and by a review of the 5-year self-assessment report Develop the Federal Managers Committee Report and Recommendation to the National CESU Council Gather responses (by email, conference calls, phone calls), and write a short report (see questions under Categories A and C on renewal guidance) Still need someone to co-lead (with Chris) the Federal Managers review Chris has received a couple of recommendations for external reviewers, feel free to send more in Reviewers should be familiar with the CESU network, but not actively engaged in the PNW CESU 17 Strategic Plan: Key Issues  Evaluation and management of species and habitats at risk  Climate change and its impacts on valued resources  Adaptation guidelines for changing environmental conditions  Ecological disturbances, drought, and fire  Landscape and river restoration  Development of effective resource inventory and monitoring protocols  Pacific Northwest Native cultural resource documentation and knowledge preservation  Sustainable resource management  Conserving biodiversity  Human dimensions in public lands management, including urban and rural issues  Invasive species  Influence of hydropower projects on endangered species and the removal of migration barriers  Wind and wave energy development and analysis 19 Updates from Partners 22
