Please pray for Louisiana Tech University brothers this summer The bonds of brotherhood that help keep the faith in college don’t dissolve when students head home for the summer – but it does mean that they miss out on the encouragement and accountability they enjoy throughout the semester So as members head home this summer from Louisiana Tech University, it’s critical we cover them in prayer Here’s a quick update on what they experienced this year and some prayer points you can use to lift them up over the summer… The Alpha Xi Chapter continued to build a tradition of brotherhood and unity in Louisiana this winter and spring Chapter retreat was a huge success, inviting national staff members, Preston Morris and Gabriel McKinney to join for the weekend Men served their churches well, grew deeper in cell groups, and embraced accountability from their brothers in the chapter As the chapter deepened spiritually, they thrived socially, exchanging with multiple sororities, participating in their first Songfest and hosting a successful ‘Guys in Ties’ philanthropy event with Sigma Kappa The spring quarter ended with a well-attended Island Party Louisiana Tech BYX continues to build committed men of Jesus in Ruston • Pray for the successful recruitment over the summer and fall • Pray for the continued tradition of excellence as founders graduate • Pray for the chapter’s relationship to IFC and other ministries on campus Thank you for praying for BYX brothers this summer We’re deeply grateful!
