Refurbishment of existing college & Lecture Theatre The Northern School of Art, Hartlepool Client – The Norther School of Art (Cleveland College of Art & Design) Stuart Slorach & David Giles  Church Square, Hartlepool, Cleveland, TS24 7EX  xxxxxxxxxx  xxxxxxxxxx Proj Man – Turner & Townsend – Mark Cullen  Victoria House, Pearson Way, Thornaby, Stockton-on-Tees, Cleveland, TS17 6PT  xxxxxxxxxx  xxxxxxxxxx Completion – January 2018 (3 Months) Value - £480,000 (JCT Intermediate Form of Building Contract 2016) Site Man - Francis Hibbitts We won a competitive contract to strip out and refurbish an number of existing college rooms and create a new Lecture Theatre / performance space including seating and AV equipment As part of the works we also re-cladded the existing elevation after demolition works by others had taken place The work involved new tiered seating, decoration, suspended ceilings, decoration, signage, acoustic panelling, stage upgrade, movable teaching/project wall/screen, new furniture, renewal & new AV systems, mechanical works and electrical works including new lighting The works were completed to a high standard on time & budget Overall the project was a success and excellent feedback has been received from the client, end users and design team, and as a result we have since been awarded further works for this client
