Office of Safety & Security 3307 3rd Avenue West, Suite 117 Seattle WA 98119 Information Line: 206-281-2922 Student Parking Rates and ORCA Bus Pass Information Any vehicle owned or operated by an SPU student or employee must be registered with the Office of Safety and Security if it is parked on the campus, or on adjacent city streets The Office of Safety and Security will attempt to contact you via your SPU email address If you choose to cancel your parking permit, you must notify our office in writing and return your decal within 10 days of the start of the quarter to be eligible for a refund Students may apply for parking on our new parking web site at SPU NuPark All passes purchased will be annual passes, but will be billed in QUARTERLY increments to your student account If you have any questions, please call the Office of Safety and Security at (206) 281-2922 or email SPU’s Transportation Manager at eideh@spu.edu Parking Rates Permit Type Term Rate (tax included) Resident (Ashton Hall, Hill Hall, Moyer Hall, Campus Houses & Apartments) Annual $215/quarter Emerson or Arnett Hall Resident Annual $215/quarter Commuter (M-F, 7am – 5pm) Annual $215/quarter Motorcycle Only – Commuter Annual No charge N/A No charge Street (allowed in Commuter Lots M-F after 5pm, before 7am and weekends) 2nd Vehicle Decal Annual $25.00/quarter Person Carpool Annual $215/quarter or More Person Carpool N/A No charge $10.00 Replacement Decal N/A *Graduate students taking evening classes may park in Commuter Lots on weekdays between pm and pm if they purchase and display street decals on their vehicles Student ORCA Cards This pass allows you to ride anywhere in your designated zone as often as desired making these passes perfect for those students that use the bus very regularly Additionally, the Associated Students of Seattle Pacific (ASSP) offers bus passes that can be checked out for occasional use from the Unicom desk at the Student Union Building More information can be found on ASSP’s website Obtaining an ORCA pass is a three-month, quarterly commitment for the months of October, November, and December All charges will be placed on your student account This Autumn Quarter, we will be offering OneZone Peak and Two-Zone Peak monthly passes discounted $30 each month The City of Seattle is one zone and all other areas outside the city but within King County are the second zone • • • • • • • There are no summer ORCA cards for students Passes are quarterly, three-month commitments (fall will be Oct, Nov, & Dec) Cards are limited and are discounted 30% for each of the three months One-zone, peak card (2.75 fare) – discounted price is $69/month ($207 for quarter) Original price is $297 for the three months Two-zone, peak card (3.25 fare) – discounted price is $82/month ($245 for quarter) Original price is $351 for the three months
