Thesis and Dissertation Submission Process T/D Submission: Overview • • • • • Step 1: Graduate Program Defense and Completion Form Step 2: T/D Submission Fee Step 3: ProQuest Step 4: Feedback and Corrections Step 5: Approval Step 1: Form • Complete: Graduate Program Defense and Completion Form • Submit form to: Graduate School, Stockton Campus, Knoles Hall 211 or Campus Graduate Services Specialist or gradschool@pacific.edu NOTE: The student is responsible for securing the signature and grade assignment of each committee member Step 2: T/D Submission Fee • When the Graduate Program Defense and Completion Form has been received, an email confirmation and next steps will be sent • Included in the confirmation email are instructions for paying the T/D Submission Fee through CashNet • Fee is used to cover ProQuest license and remaining funds are used for Research and Conference Travel Awards • Ensure Thesis/Dissertation follows Thesis and Dissertation Format Guide before upload Step 3: ProQuest • Final version of Thesis/Dissertation uploaded to ProQuest • On the homepage, click SUBMIT MY DISSERTATION/THESIS Submission Steps: Publishing information About my dissertation/thesis Submission & payment Dissertation/Thesis Details ProQuest: Additional Options Delayed Release (embargo): • Postpones publication in case of pending patents or publications, sensitive data, etc Copyright: • All dissertations and MA in Psychology submissions are to be copyrighted • Pay a $55 copyright fee via ProQuest Additional Copies: • For printed copies of your T/D, you can purchase through ProQuest • There are multiple printing options available (e.g., hardcover, softcover, etc in multiple sizes) Step 4: Feedback • Feedback is provided within 5-business days after you submit • Your corrections should be submitted within 2-business days • • You will receive an automated email when corrections are required You will receive an automated email when the T/D is APPROVED Note: It may take several rounds before final approval Step 5: Approval Congratulations, you’re done!
