sustainability and is a living laboratory of successes, challenges, and on-‐going experiments The Oregon Sustainability Experience allows participants to explore this rich environment, learning from innovators in sustainability in four sectors: business, university, government, and not-‐for-‐profit You’ll examine leading-‐edge sustainable design principles at work in a mix of commercial, industrial, residential, and infrastructure projects throughout the Portland Metro Area Each day of this unique five-‐day experience will include case-‐study discussions of these examples and their application to your own unique opportunities and challenges Group size is limited, kept to just 35 participants to allow for dynamic discussion, problem solving and relationship building The Field-‐Based Program: Site visits to green buildings, new development projects, urban natural resources, energy and infrastructure facilities, and the urban growth boundary, visiting practitioners in the field as they bring their experiences to life Presenters including project teams, developers, policy leaders, project facilitators, researchers, and green consultants Workshops and projects, building hands-‐on experience with real-‐world challenges Roundtable sessions with in-‐depth dialogue on each day’s findings What You’ll Take Home: The latest approaches to implementing sustainable
