5.3 Hạn chế của đề tài nghiên cứu:

Việc xác định các biến ngoại sinh đưa vào mơ hình chủ yếu dựa trên các lý thuyết kinh tế và các nghiên cứu trước đó nên khơng tranh việc bỏ sót những biến ngoại sinh khác.

Về phạm vi nghiên cứu, bài nghiên cứu mới chỉ tập trung vào các quốc gia mới nổi và đang phát triển chứ chưa mở rộng so để so sanh với những nền kinh tế phát triển.

Về dữ liệu nghiên cứu: dữ liệu trong bài nghiên cứu được lấy từ những nguồn thông tin mở đáng tin cậy như Ngân hàng thế giới,….nhưng cũng có những hạn chế nhất định như chỉ số kiểm soát tham nhũng được thu thập từ bộ công cụ chỉ số quản trị toàn cầu (WGI) được các nhà nghiên cứu của Ngân hàng Thế giới xây dựng vào cuối năm 1990, về bản chất thì số liệu là giá trị trung bình của các chỉ số quản trị dựa trên quan điểm của các chuyên gia.

Các hạn chế của đề tài là hướng nghiên cứu cho những nghiên cứu tiếp theo trong tương lai.
