WORK AND PLAY Period : 30 SECTION : B - IT’S TIME FOR RECESS (B3,4,5 ) Date of preparation : November 6th , 2009 Date of teaching : November 18th, 2009 Classes : 7A5 I Aims and objectives : + Language Content : + To supply the students some new words and phrases relating to different activities at recess in schools in the USA +Language Function : + Helping them develop the reading comprehension skill with forms reading and choosing correct sentences +Educational Aim : + Helping them know some various activities at a recess in the world Language : + Vocabulary : shooting some hoops, portable C.D, earphone + Structures : Simple present tense; Present progressive tense Skills : Speaking – Listening - Reading - Writing Educational factor : + Helping the s.s know how to use time suitably between recess and study II Teacher’s and students’ preparation : Method : Communicative Approach Techniques : repetition, explanation,pair work Materials needed : textbook, pictures and tape Students’preparation: prepare words and phrases Previous exercise : Ask and answer about activities at recess III PROCEDURES IN CLASS : Stabilization : 2ms a Warm up: Greetings b Checking up absent: Who’s absent today?
