1 Warm up:

-Has sts play game: Guessing game -Divide sts into teams

-Has sts play 2 New lesson:

2.1 Look, listen and repeat.

-Has sts look at the pictures and answer: Who are they?

What are they talking about?

-Play CD and ask sts listen and follow the words

- Play CD again , pausing after each sentence for sts to repeat chorally - Has sts read in groups

I Objectives: After the lesson, sts will be able to pronounce the sounds of the letters f in the words beef ,leaf and sh in the words fish, dish respectively II Language focus:

1 Warm up:

-Has sts play game:Food or drink! New lesson.

2.1 Listen and repeat.

- Have Ss open the book, look at the words beef,leaf and fish, dish and notice the letter coloured differently in both words

-Produce the sound of the letter f in the word beef,leaf and sh in the word fish,dish-Ask Ss to say what they think about when they hear the sounds - Have pupils listen and repeat

-sts practice individually

-some sts read aloud in front of the class
