The trend of young people learning additional languages has gainedmomentum In today's world, there is a significant imperative to continuallydevelop and modernize oneself, given the vast scope of foreign languageknowledge Ms Nguyen actively seeks out and updates innovative andengaging lessons to expand the horizons of the center's students To facilitatethis, the English Center Ms Nguyen was formally established in 2017 underthe leadership of Director Thao Nguyen
Over time, the Center has attained notable successes andaccomplishments It places a strong emphasis on imparting foundationalEnglish skills to all students and fostering an environment where learningoccurs through enjoyable activities, ensuring the most effective studysessions Students at the center benefit from a combination of instruction fromboth foreign and local teachers, ensuring a well-rounded and valuable
1.1.2 Facilities
Generally, the center has a of total 9 classrooms and other facilities such
as offices, playing ground and test room Each room is equipped with allcutting-edge devices, namely projectors, air conditioners, and speakers Thecenter does not differ so much from ordinary schools since it can meet theneed of all pupils so each student studying here can feel the true pedagogicalsetting outside their schools

The target audience of the English Center is from all ages; however, theymostly focus on teaching kids The pupils come to learn with different desires,but they all revolve the sole purpose of enhancing their English ability Allstudents will be welcomed by the most passionate employee and be taught by

here always exert themselves to create a very disciplined, instructive yet
comfortable environment to the students can fully develop here The most
considerable strategy of the center is to mold an environment where each
student belongs to a whole larger family

team If needed, this person will also modify the curriculum, and adjust theapproaches to meet the pupils’ requirements
Marketing executive: Being in charge of carrying out the marketing
strategies established by the director and the head of the marketingdepartment They promote the center’s products, services, and image byutilizing technology, tactics, and approaches
Accounting: Checking the monthly revenue and managing all the
expenses Compile tax reports and finalize tax returns at the end of the fiscalyear Maintaining attendance records and create payroll for each studentspaying the tuition fee Keep accounting records in accordance withrequirements
Consultant: They are knowledgeable about the courses and they can
give the most useful and appropriate advice for each customer

2.1 Position overview and responsibility
Upon completing all mandatory courses at my university, I chose to take
on the role of a teaching assistant at an English center On my initial day, themanager briefed me on essential facility details such as course offerings andworking hours Throughout my internship, my primary responsibility wasdeveloping and delivering new lessons, exercises, and ideas, particularly forspeaking and reading classes Additionally, I often assumed the role ofteaching assistant in various classes Crafting new lessons from scratchallowed me to enhance my skills in research, compilation, and presentation Iactively participated in group meetings to discuss upcoming lectures orpresentations, which aided in overcoming my fear of public speaking.Furthermore, I diligently considered recommendations and suggestions from
my peers, manager, and instructors to minimize errors during this period Ibelieve internships are pivotal in shaping a student's career path post-graduation Typically, I worked 3 days a week Despite the multitude oftasks, I consistently received assistance from my colleagues, managers, andstaff, all of whom were supportive, constructive, and enthusiastic I amgrateful for the challenging internship experience and the knowledge andskills acquired along the journey

THE FIRST WEEK
Thursday
January 18th
- Being given the first tasks
- Editing and creating PowerPoint presentations for TOEIC lessons
I became habituatedwith the lessons beingtaught here

Trang 11As a senior at Duy Tan University, it was mandatory for me to complete
an internship before graduation With this requirement in mind, I carefullyselected a placement where I could excel and grow professionally Opting for
Ms Nguyen English Center turned out to be a wise and prudent decision.However, securing approval for the internship involved a nerve-wrackinginterview process that I still recall with trepidation Despite the anxiety andpressure I experienced during the interview, I was fortunate to begin myinternship as a teaching assistant, thanks to the support of Ms Nguyen and
Ms Dieu Their guidance provided me with invaluable knowledge andexperience, preparing me for the challenges that lay ahead
The first week of my internship at Ms Nguyen English Center was filledwith excitement and learning Ms Dieu provided me with essentialinformation about the center, including its rules and procedures, and assisted
me in creating a teaching project Gradually, I grew accustomed to myresponsibilities over the initial days Moreover, collaborating with colleagueshelped me develop essential soft skills

Trang 13The second week at Ms Nguyen English Center marked a significantmilestone in my internship With each passing day, I felt more integrated intothe center's environment The teachers and staff, particularly Ms Nguyenherself, were exceptionally supportive whenever I encountered challengeswith my tasks In addition to organizing ideas, I was given the opportunity toactively participate in providing genuine academic assistance to studentswhenever they needed it.
As the second week progressed, my excitement grew, and I began to seemyself as an integral part of the center's team Successfully completing allassigned tasks boosted my confidence significantly and served as motivationfor me to passionately promote the beauty of the English language and ignitestudents' love for it

The third week at Ms Nguyen English Center proved to be instrumental
in enhancing my pedagogical experience and knowledge I gradually becameaccustomed to the dynamics of a classroom and learned effective classroommanagement techniques Although my initial attempts at being a teachingassistant were not flawless, the supportive and friendly teachers at the centerguided me through the lessons
Having the chance to be present in classes allowed me to conquer myfear of speaking in front of large groups Additionally, serving as a teachingassistant enabled me to form deeper connections with my students I

During the fourth week of my internship at Ms Nguyen English Center,
I dedicated myself to absorbing all the knowledge and experience imparted bythe teachers Additionally, providing individual tutoring to each student in aclass contributed to the improvement of both my pedagogical andcommunication skills, which are crucial for my desired career path as ateacher
As part of our responsibilities, all interns were tasked with developingnew lessons for the center, including introducing new vocabulary andexercises I took this opportunity to leverage my well-honed English languageproficiency to create engaging lessons tailored to the students' current level.This endeavor posed a challenge as it required not only sourcing appropriatevocabulary but also formatting the content into a Word document Despite thedifficulty, this task proved to be constructive in my pursuit of becoming ateacher

The fifth week at the center proved to be the most challenging for me.Despite being tasked with multiple responsibilities throughout the week, withthe support of my fellow interns and instructor, I managed to complete themall successfully Despite the struggles I faced, I found this week to be the mostcaptivating of all Not only did I have the opportunity to utilize my Englishskills for translation and interpretation, but I also assumed the role of a realteacher for one class, laying the foundation for my dream of becoming aneducator
