Disadvantages: + There may be an imbalance in the levels of investment and expertise provided by one party + There are conflicting management styles, business cultures and operational styles + Different strategic objectives for involved parties + Complex to set up a great deal of time and money to invest in finding the right partner By joining the joint venture, Trung Nguyen coffee company may have a number of advantages to expand its market and reach closely to customers However, China is a large and complicated market, so the joint venture is easy to lose its brand, the company is not active in managing and operating the business Licensing/ Franchising -
